If you want to experience rural Andalucia this is an excellent place to stay. The house has been refurbished to a
very good standard with every thing you will need in the house. The living room, kitchen and bedrooms are all of a good size
and the views from the terrace as well as the living room are lovely. Very quite place (but the bread van wakes you up at
8:00 am most days!). Had no problems getting provisions in next towns (5 mins drive either way) and both Granada and the Coast
are easy to get to. If you have kids the public swimming pool in Lecrin is really worth it at 2 euro's pp as is the traditional
pasteleria in Durcal (approx 400m beyond the main sq). A really nice place to stay."

Casa Colmena was our calm from the storm! We had a relaxing holiday in a beautiful peaceful house. The pool was the
icing on the cake!!"
Hi again,
We left the house Saturday morning and arrived in Brussels in the evening as planned. We are extremely happy with our stay
in Casa del Mulo and in the Lecrin Valley as well as the rest of the region. For three days we walked around in the wonderful
landscape in the valley among the villages and the plantations of oranges and lemons etc. For another three days we went to
the beaches along the coastline. We visited Cordoba one day and Granada another (and managed to get in at Alhambra at
21.30 avoiding all lines and tourist during daytime). We had delectable lunches and dinners both in restarants and in the
terrace of the house. In summary, it was a lovely vacation in a perfect house in a beatiful region. A marvelous start of the
summer season.

Dear Alison and Andy
Thank for a wonderful holiday at Casa Colmena - we couldn't have wished for a better location for an
introduction to rural Spain. The house was super and equipped for every eventuality.
Despite the unseasonable weather the local walks across the campo opposite the house and on the GR7 were
superb, the smell of the orange blossom and jasmine was unforgettable.
We will certainly return!
